Are you interested in protein and health supplements?
Do you think you would be an effective supplement promoter, and could make BIG MONEY for yourself in the process?
Have you considered, or are looking for a custom supplement manufacturer for you own private label supplements lines?
My business model is very different from those of other contract manufacturers (CMs). Most CMs are like this:
Before I owned my own facility, I hired CMs to manufacture products I created. At the time I was creating sex supplements for the novelty side of the adult entertain biz. CMs would ignore my potential to make tons of money and just rip me off to make a quick few thousand bucks instead of a half-million bucks they would have made by not ripping me off. Lengthy lead times jammed up my momentum, and momentum is critical for a winning product. Despite the fact that backorder situations can in certain circumstances increase demand, it is in most cases a disaster.
I got into sports nutrition because I was bodybuilding and I saw a hole in the marketplace - there was literally nobody offering quality protein at bulk, wholesale prices despite the protein market being glutted to the core. I targeted customers like me and next thing I knew I was building a facility. It wasn't long before I had my first celebrity client. How did I get such a client? Her agent tried my product and was like, "wow I actually like drinking this we need this company to make our line." :)
As I said earlier on, most products suck because it is not cheap to make something taste great. But without middlemen, or having to pay to put my product on store shelves or pay for the lease on some distributor’s GT3, I could afford to make a product taste great. This not only lead to "no cheating" from customers because they were satisfied when I was up in their stomachs lol, but such customer retention creates INSANE lifetime customer value which allows for higher customer acquisition costs if needed.
I look for clients who are celebrities, or influencers – or plan to be BIG. They could be celebrities on the internet, instagram, TV, etc. Instagram is filled with them. Even onlyfans and all these sex outlets are filled with women with tons of fans who will buy anything they tell them too. Some may say if they need money they just ask guys to give them money and they get it. But most girls on onlyfans aren't making money so why not sell a supplement? Also, many girls want to be known for something besides selling their bodies. They want to feel like they are also accomplished like the men who give them money. Plus, you can't sell your body forever and they know that. Instagram is filled with people who could easily sell stuff. What I look for is ambition, personality - them having something everyone wants like a perfect butt (even if they have something injected in there)... It is not hard to blow someone up Fat Joe style if you can create a winning product for them and I can create better winning products than anyone. Which brings me to the next thing.
There are 2 aspects to formulation. The formula itself and the process. Process formulation consists of things such as what order ingredients are placed in a mixer and how long they are mixed for, the fluid dynamics of a particular mixer vs. another... you ever open up a popular pre-workout and it looks like the frosted lucky charms elf took a shit in it? They just dumped everything into a blender at once and spun it for a while. They also used the wrong excipients in the wrong amounts. But while those things are critical to the end user's experience, I actually know how to make formulas that do something.
"Most products are clones of other products and most of them don't work.... the secret as to why MLMs are so successful is most MLM products REALLY WORK."
There are many things I have created that I have kept off the market. For example, how many women would buy a product that gives them a "million dollar pussy" like Cardi B sings about? Probably all of them and I know how to make such things. Legally and naturally. I keep meaning to reach out to Cardi B's agent... lol. Most products are clones of other products and most of them don't work. If a celebrity comes to me and wants a line developed, her celebrity status will allow her to sell a ton based on her name, but imagine if the product actually worked? It would transform her from a celebrity pushing a product, to an authority further advancing her status. Did you know the MOST MONEY in supplements is in MLM/pyramid schemes? But the secret as to why MLMs are so successful is most MLM products REALLY WORK. Shows you how important a good product (works and tastes great) actually is.
Their most important function is their ability to influence someone to buy. A provide all ammo needed for them. Why stress out a star with things they don't need to think about? I know how to make a product unique, and position it for success in the most crowded of markets. People don't buy products for the reasons we often think that they do. I have the lowest minimums and will do anything to accommodate a clients success (determined on a case-by-case basis).
Nobody has time to wait 6-8 weeks for their products. My lead times are under 2 weeks and sometimes I have done runs in a few days. Why are lead times so critical? Cash flow is the most important aspect of a growing business and long lead times ruin cash flow which causes a "scale up" to crash. Simple as that.
If you’ve read Tim Ferris' bullshit first book and think you can get 100 units of a top quality, delicious supplement for 10 cents per unit, and that I will do your label design and branding, plus create your Amazon listings and fulfill your orders as well because Tim claims he pulled such a stunt while working in a cubicle and it made him enough money to be a professional angel investor who only works 4 hours a week! Seriously, go troll manufacturers on Alibaba with the rest of your kind!
